Red Marble Railroad Spike

Hand forged from an abandoned and reclaimed railroad spike, and a reclaimed marble which was found while walking the railroad tracks. This twist pattern here is Basket twist, made from a single solid railroad spike.  The spike has been notched underneath the head region to allow for a functional bottle opener while still maintaining the integrity of the railroad spike shape. The marble is a beautiful translucent red, with natural air bubbles throughout.
